Joes Versus the Volcano: Riding Maunakea, the Hardest Climb in World

Riding Maunakea with the ENVE squad started with dipping tires in ocean and ending on top of a volcano. Along the way we climbed nearly 14,000 feet, through desert-like dryness to rain to moonscape, with double-digit gradients and nearly of five miles of steep, nasty gravel.

On Strava:

Hardest climb in the world? We’re convinced.
